Nasima’s passion for cooking goes back to her childhood in Bangladesh where the rich cultural tradition and authentic food inspired her to be creative in the kitchen.

A budding entrepreneur and a professional Fruit and Vegetable Carving Chef, Nasima’s talent goes beyond cooking and baking. Nasima has successfully established herself as a professional Fruit Carving chef and has bagged herself many challenging and creative project in this new niche industry.

 

Nasima has a Masters Degree in Information Systems and served many FTSE companies as Finance Analyst. However, Nasima’s continuous passion for becoming a successful chef made her to part ways as Analyst as she decided to follow her most cherished dream to feed people with sumptuous delicacies and baked dishes.

CULINARY HISTORY

 

Nasima, being an authentic food revolutionist is blessed to have a family, who is purely in love with Thai and Indian food and owns several restaurants in the UK serving delicious Thai, Bengali and Indian cuisines. Growing up in a family that are expert and authentic food, Nasima has certainly accumulated such talents from her ancestors.

Passion & Inspiration

 

She always had a craving to build her own fruit carving business. For this, she worked hard and initially started by organizing fruit carving stalls at family events. Her fruit carving talent was recognized by many food lovers who invited her to be live at cookery shows and events.  Later it has grown into a sort after business with a brand name of Fruitima - Carving up a Masterpiece. This has led Nasima to be known for her beautiful fruit carving talent and has enabled her to partner with  some renowned corporate  brands and high profile wedding clients.

Recent Highlights

 

Fruit and vegetable carving is her core business, besides baking and cooking. Her constant desire to innovate something extraordinary out of the ordinary fruits and vegetables has allowed her to work for popular terrestrial TV channels by displaying her creative work on prime time TV.

Nasima and her work has appeared on programs like channel 4's Kirstie's Handmade Christmas 2018, HSBC TV Commercial 2018,  ‘All Star Mr & Mrs’ 2014 for ITV  and ‘8 Out of 10 Cats’ 2015 on Channel 4.

She also gave a special appearance with well-known celebrities, The Hairy Bikers and David Walliams on BBC One’s, ‘The One Show’ 2016.  

Family Life

​

Nasima, being a successful entrepreneur is also a wife and a lovable mother of two. Apart from her family and business, Nasima works very closely with her local community and charities. She also takes out time to write her blogs about creative cooking, healthy eating, and fruit/vegetable carving.

 

Consulting her for fruit and vegetable carving requirements for the wedding, corporate events or TV programs would be like the icing on the cake.
