Two Ingredients Naan Bread

I am having Naan of that!

I have been making naan for a while now but there's been a recent naan craze over the internet and I decided to jump the bandwagon. It's so easy that now you can make your own naan at home. Perfect with your favourite curry.

So here's the 2 ingredients naan bread with my own little tweaks. Topped with fresh garlic and coriander or zataar spice is absolutely amazing.

INGREDIENTS FOR NAAN BREAD 300g SR flour plus extra for dusting 3+ tbsp natural or Greek yogurt pinch of Salt to taste

Variation for topping 2 tbs melted butter, chopped garlic and chopped coriander

Zataar spice mix

METHOD 1. Place the flour in a bowl and add the salt. 2. Make a well and add yogurt and mix using a butter knife. Carry on adding more yogurt at intervals until the mix turns into a dough. If you don't have enough yogurt then add a little lukewarm water instead. 3. If the dough becomes too soggy, add few spoons of flour. 4. Start kneading in the bowl then transfer on your worktop. Knead the dough for a good 10 minutes until it turns into a soft pliable dough. 5. Keep the dough covered for 10-20 minutes. 6. Now divide the dough into 6 balls. Roll each one out using a rolling pin, ensuring they are fairly thin like roti. 7. Heat a large non-stick pan. Add the naan and cook on high heat until it bubbles up.

8. Let it dry fry and rise up for about 3 mins. Brush a little butter on top of the naan then turn over and cook on the other side for another 2-3 minutes. 9. Take the naan out and place it on a plate and cover with tea towel. 10. You can keep them in a warm oven until its ready to serve with brushing butter on each.

* Variation: top each naan with chopped garlic and coriander for added flavour when rolling out.
