Lahori Style Fried Fish

Video Recipe

As a Bengali, I can't get enough of fried Rohu fish. It's something I grew up with and there are so many way of a making a fried fish dish. The traditional way of making Bengali fried fish is to marinade the fish steaks with salt and turmeric, then shallow fry in little oil. It is usually served on a plate of fried onions, chopped chillies and garnish. Eaten with steamed rice or sticky rice. It's as simple as that! But when one of my Pakistani friends posted a picture of Lahori Fried Fish, I was intrigued as I have never really tried it before. And once I tried it, I couldn't believe how tasty and easy it was to make it. Its not too disimilar to the Bengali fried fish but the fish is coated in a batter with wholes spices before its fried. And it really is very simple. Here's my video link for the full recipe. Do give it a try and let me know how it turns out. Don't forget to like and subscribe guys!
